LGS Scandinavia Resort south of Ormoc City was a peaceful and relaxing resort, placed in a dead end of the local road in Mahayag, Albuera. The place was nice an tidy, and with clean surroundings. We rented a bungalow with a large terrace faced the pool area. In the middle of the resort are two oval large pools, one for adults, one for kids. The pools was divided with a bridge overlooking both pools.
The place is children friendly, they had playground for children with slides and swing in addition to the kid's pool. Really good for family w. children to have picnic there.
All bungalows was fully equipped with all you need to make your own food or just coffee and the enjoy it outside on the terrace, or have you dinner at the dinner table, which we brought out on the terrace.
The restaurant was large, but with limited food menu, but since we made our own food, it did not really matter.
We really enjoyed the stay there, and for Golfers, we can recommend it since Leyte Golf Court is not far away. The resort can bring you back and forth, if you don't have your own car.
We also took a day with sight seeing, driving south to of Leyte and partially to the east, where we met a lot of local fruit sellers who sold us Lanzones. Be bought a couple of kilos :-)
Will be back there in February.
