It is located right across from the Eagle Beach, and about 10 mins away from the airport. The exterior of the villa was painted a pinkish-coral colour which we think is sooo cute. The lobby area is nice and clean, the front desk staff were so nice. The grounds are nice and well-kept. There are 2 free form pools and a hot tub. Ask one of the staff and they can provide for you inflatables that you can borrow and even take to the beach or to have them inflate one of your own. Beach/ pool towels are provided and you can get a fresh onesdaily. The towel hut is just by the pool area. The pool area has plenty of loungers and chickees where you can relax with the Iguanas and lizards that are everywhere (they are harmless). The villa also provided the loungers and chickees to the beach across the street therefor no need for the guests to rent loungers. The villa also have a Tiki Bar by the pool area, a restaurant (Carambola) and a spa/hair salon (Jenya) by the front entrance, though we did not go to any of them. We reserved a 2 bedroom suite that can accomodate up to 6 guests though there's only 4 of us. The unit has 2 bathrooms and the one in the masters bedroom have a jacuzzi. There is a tiny kitchen, dining area and living area that we think are just so cute. The kitchen is fully equip with everything you need (except for the food). There are also 2 balconies, one is accessible from the living room and one from the master's bedroom. We are so impressed with how clean and well-kept the unit is. It is really a home away from home. Me and my husband even enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchen, not to mention saved us money from eating in for most of the trip. The area is close to everything: beach, restaurants, Palm beach/ High rise area, airport, souvenir shops and several groceries. There is also a tiny giftshop within the facility for last minute souvenir shopping as well as emergency supplies such as pads, shampoos, aloe, chips, bread, milk, even safety pins! Internet access can be purchased at the front desk of your hotel or at the aiport and it is about $35/week, provider is Setar WIFI, the signal is good at the villa but spotty anywhere else. The villa also has an internet room with 3 computers that you can use to check/send email or surf the internet for a fee of $5/ hour in $1 bills only. As far as security, the villa is fairly safe with security person/s at night. Tip: Though it is disclosed that you will be charge a government tax/energy surcharge at the end of your stay it would not hurt to ask how much is it per day, therefore you will not be surprise when they give you a bill of $188 and some change on your last day. Another tip is that even if the place is kept clean and tidy daily, there will be tiny ants and insects especially if you left food on the table. It is a tropical island and should be expected to have some creepy crawlies, no fault of the villa though, so you might want to bring a bug spray! Close
