Description: Hotel Primula
With the new 5-star hotel directly on the Weser sounds expensive, but the Hotel Primula in Bremerhaven Stresemannstrasse 110 provides a reasonable value for money. I stayed there two nights for each 76 € (including breakfast) in double rooms.
You could walk on Stresemannstrasse and almost walk passed it, the building is unimpressive from the outside. Only the word "Primula" finally showed me: Attention, turn here. And then I was already equal to the parking lot of the hotel, including the free use of the accommodation fee is. The hotel has 86 rooms, most of them are double rooms. It is located on a busy street - that's why you should take if possible, a room to the rear or side out. Acquaintances had said with that is in front of the car noise to hear it sometimes. Back where we had our room, it was quiet. Even with clairaudience, the house has no problems. The rooms of the four-story building are accessible by stairs or elevator. There are (from the parking area) a front and a back entrance.
The rooms have a double bed, two small bedside tables, table, chair, luggage rack, cupboard for clothes, telephone, TV, carpeting, and a separate bathroom. These included a bath with shower, toilet, mirror, towel rail, hairdryer. The bathroom had been worn down a bit, here we noticed that the last renovation was probably quite a few years ago. Nevertheless, everything was quite clean and well maintained - although traces of use were obvious. Everything was cramped a little, the rooms were not very big or roomy. Thought the hotel is indeed less to stay during the day (for there is in BHV enough to see and experience), but to stay. And there always reached - because the beds were still not saggy.
The reception is staffed around the clock - with competent staff who helped out with, was asked if the crush at breakfast every helping hand. Check in went smoothly and quickly, just as the check-out. And in between times when we had a question, it was helpful information. Information material about Bremerhaven is located at the front desk.
The breakfast was ok but nothing more. It was buffet style sandwiches, bread, cereals, cheeses, sausages, jams, honey, yogurt, good coffee (upon request of warm milk or cocoa), tea and juices (oranges and apples). Of all, as much as you wanted. Well, it was enough, although it has similar houses in a little more variety. But more can eat as much as they are not so. At one of our two days we were so against only 9.15 clock for breakfast - just like almost all hotel residents at the same time. Since it was getting too close to the seats. But soon, thanks to the help of the reception staff had prepared a place.
The location of the hotel is good. It is located directly opposite the town hall. So if there attended an event and want to stay then, here is cheap and good hands. In the inner city and the river Weser, you can walk (20 to 25 minutes). A better way is probably to consult with either one of the many car parking spaces or pay the charges of the car parks. Here's a tip: If you drive into town and immediately after crossing the bridge Geeste take the first left (traffic light), which takes place along this road with luck, perhaps one of the outdoor parking fees. From there it's really just three minutes walk to the Columbus Center (also in the direct center).
