This hotel was close enough to walk to the Boardwalk and my kids loved it.

Quote: In our future trip most likely this summer we will stay in this hotel again. Location is perfect and you can walk to all the places do not have to drive the car around. Alsos the pool is nice and the hotel is clean. The staff is very friendly.

This place was a dump, complete with two toilets in the back parking lot.

Quote: This place was terrible: couldn't find our reservation, the first room smelled like a wet and musty basement, complete with what looked like blood stains on the lampshades and a broken patio door that led to the parking lot (not safe). Second room... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review

Room was huge....

  • March 2, 2009
Quote: We loved this place. The room was as big as our living/dining/kitchen at home... Also a big closet and big bathroom. This would have been good for a family to stay here and vacation. We only stayed one night but wished there had been more time. ... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review

Quote: This is my second time at the Santa Cruz Beach Inn and I can't say enough about the place! You can't beat the price! Its clean, breakfast is good (real food & lots of it), staff is nice, and I feel safe leaving my car in the parking lot. Its close... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review

Ice Cold Pool

Quote: We stopped here for one night and thought we would relax by the pool. It was freezing! No jacuzzi. Was told that they don't heat pools in Santa Cruz. Room was small but clean. Employees were cordial and the breakfast was good. Nothing to do near... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review

Room smelled very bad

  • August 5, 2007
Quote: I would never stay here again. Just was not very clean or comfortable. We had two rooms as we had 3 kids with us. Even the kids thought it was not very nice. The hot tub was very cloudy and didn't look very clean. The motel was NOT A 3 STAR, but... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review

Nice hotel

Quote: The hotel was nice, quiet, and clean. Service was great, and the adjoining rooms were welcome. Courtyard fountain was noisy at night - they should disable it after 10 pm. Otherwise great.

Quaint and Simple

Quote: Adequate, but not fancy. Although we didn't need them it was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Clean, but much of the fixtures and components were in need of modernization. Few sounds from outside, but some of the intermal... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review

Not a 3 star hotel

  • 2 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 22, 2007
Quote: It was nothing like a 3 star. The staff was not very helpful and a bit rude. The room was an adequate 2 star room. The beds were very uncomfortable and the shower had only luke warm water. There was a free breakfast and everything was very clean.

Comfortable and affordable

Quote: The hotel was nice. My room was not ready at 5:30pm. Housekeeping was working on it (apparently someone had quit and they were running behind) but they offered me another room instead, which was actually bigger and it had a fridge and a microwave.... Read the full Santa Cruz Beach Inn review
