When researching various lodgings thru-out Spain and Portugal you never are quite sure what you may get. The Hotel Jerez was wonderful. It was a convent that has been converted into a hotel, which is in a good location. The staff was very helpful in responding to any questions or problems. They even gave us keys to a few rooms so we could pick the room we wanted. Breasfasts were excellent, choices were plentiful and tasty. You need to try the potatoe tortilla (yummy). Hotel was very clean, quiet, comfy. If we ever get back to Jerez, the Hotel Jerez is a definite place for us to stay.
