This hotel was in a great location and made me feel welcome.

Quote: This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the Nicollet mall and great restaurants. There is no hotel parking lot so look for street parking or one of the public lots nearby. Checkin was quick and the hotel services were efficient. I... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

Big 10 Swim Meet

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 28, 2011
Quote: We stayed there for 4 nights and paid for the unlimited in & out vallet parking which was well -worth it because we were constantly going in & out. Our car was brought out quickly and they were friendly. We were with a Huge group of swim parents &... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

Will return again

  • February 7, 2011
Quote: I would recommend this hotel (and I have) to any of my friends. In fact, we will be returning to Minneapolis next fall and I will definitely book this hotel again. Clean, great service, and close to stadium and convention center.

Overall a wonderful experience in a beautiful downtown location

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 7, 2011
Quote: I traveled to the Hilton for a getaway weekend with some friends. The hotel was beautiful and within walking distance of great bars, shops and other stores. It is also right next to the walkways (for the colder months). The rooms were nice and... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

Hard Beds - Worse Service

  • 1 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 7, 2011
Quote: I have stayed at many Hilton Garden Inns, and I have to say that this was my worse experience. The beds were the most uncomfortable that I have ever slept on (or attempted to sleep on). In addition, the front desk was understaffed resulting in... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

They redeemed themselves well

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 3, 2011
Quote: I would recommend this hotel, especially if you're attending an event at the Conventiion Center. Short walk down sidewalk and then across street and straight into the door of CC. I called hotel the day before arriving and ask them not to give my... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

Quote: Good location. Tricky to get to at first, but then everything's walking distance. The beds are tough to get out of they're so comfortable. Overall, everything was great, I only wish the bar & food service stayed open longer (for those night owls).... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

Decent business hotel

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 3, 2011
Quote: This is a decent business hotel with usual business amenities. The only cons I can think of are: 1. No self-parking facility, i.e. requires valet 2. It's at one end of the downtown, not close to any dining places within a reasonable walking distance.

Great Hotel, Great Price, Great Location

Quote: We stay in Minneapolis/St Paul quite a few times per year- visiting friends and relatives, shopping, theater, etc. This hotel was a great deal, nicely located and a very friendly and helpful staff. We had some drinks both before and after dinner at... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review

Urban Feel & Great Location.

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • October 9, 2008
Quote: I came directly from the airport in my rental car and the hotel was very easy to locate right at the exit ramp into downtown Minneapolis. I don't know the city very well, so it was good that I could locate the hotel so easily and not have to drive... Read the full Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown review
