Taman Sari cottages located just on the hart of Pemuteran village.
Pemuteran is a name of a small fisherman village, located on the northwest of Bali, Indonesia.
To get there from the airport took you at least two and half hours or three hours driving, it will be a pleasant driving especially if you take the Pupuan way.
My favorite route is I will take the Kerobokan way, to Kapal and getting to town of Tabanan and direct to antosari and take right for Pupuan, where the road will be quite seems only me driving on that smooth road.
The padi filed will be dominated all view left and right, soon if the weather is clear you can see the beautiful of Mt Batukaru, and when you look back then you could see south of Bali. un-beaten view, hundred times passed this route and I keep miss the view and keep find a new thing to look.
Then I will stop at a small 'warung' not far after pasing the 'kebun' restaurant, stop at the kebun is not bad, but the next one, is my favorite, once I took some of my friend ( when I said some I mean 40 of them :-) ). we stop for a coffe and we bring our own lunch eat there borrow some plate and spoon from the restaurant, order only the drink and the restaurant people happy to help us ....amazing only in Bali, where you bring your own food at the restaurant and just borrow the plate and order the drinks!!!!!, well....this is my people hospitality in returned I bring more people to stop at that coffe shop, still they so humble and great people.
From Pupuan , continue to the north, soon we got another photo stop , even so many places is good as photo stop, then we pass town of seririt, turn left and another 30minutes we will find the Pemuteran village.
My favorite place to stay is the Taman sari resort, not only the room is great but the food and the location right on the Pemuteran Bay, more than 12 years this resort and the community of Pemuteran etablish a prgram to re-plant teh coral reef, it a fantastic program.
Not ending yet will continue more about the Pemuteran live and surrounding with my pictures too.....:-)
