Keough's Hot Springs Resort

After a day or week of hiking or other sports in the Sierras a visit to the Keough Hot Springs Resort can soothe those aching muscles and relax your mind. The waters or this spring have long been rumored to be therapeutic. I'm not certain of that, but they are sure relaxing.

The Brown family bought the run down facility in 1999 and have renovated it. There are actually two pools here. First is the shallow Hot Pool and the deeper swimming pool. Both pools are surrounded by walls reducing wind and allowing more usage throughout the year. The hot pool has a roof for winter while the swiming pool is open for tanning. They rent towels and have a snack bar.

This is a good way to unwind after a long day.
