Camels, snakes and Swedish models

Our time spent walking through the walled parts of the city was fascinating. We saw snake charmers, who tried to charm the tourists by draping huge snakes around our necks ("Macht Schnell!" screamed one German tourist). Our group also included several lovely Swedish models who towered over all of the tourists and most of the native Moroccans as well. They walked, shopped, ate and laughed with great energy and the language barrier was easily broken down between us. Those girls ate every last piece of food served us for lunch and probably would have polished off an ice cream had it been available. My favorite activity was the camel ride, of course saved on film for posterior's sake. He (she?) didn't smell good whatsoever, and the fur was very scratchy but I sat up there and enjoyed my ten minutes of "stardom". Sure, lots of people have ridden an elephant, but how many can say they were a camel jockey?
