What this means is, Frog Hollow is the real deal if you are interested in fine crafts, not cute crafty crafts.
They have a wonderful assortment of carefully chosen items. Expect to see pottery, pewter, hand-blown glass, photography, woodcut prints, jewelry and more. The day I was there I was amused by a pottery series called Road Kill. The artist actually pressed dead frogs, lizards etc into the clay to make impressions. THey were so lovely you gloss over the morbidity factor. Ultimately, I chose to take a gorgeous handblown glass ball home with me to add to my growing collection. It was very hard to choose from all the wonderful one of a kind pieces.
Frog Hollow also offers educational opportunities from summer day camp to master level workshops for professional craftspeople.
