Greenville Zoo is a small city zoo. The landscaping is wonderful with all the flowers, ferns, and bamboo trees lining the walkways. The zoo won an award for its appearance (not sure what year), but you can tell that they put a lot of work into making it look so nice.
The animals are lively and entertaining, especially "Oscar" the monkey. We couldn't get our kids away from the cage. He carried on swinging and jumping all over the place, making Tarzan sounds. We had a very nice time.
