Folk Museum

This museum has a large collection of folk art and hand made creations. It is well worth seeing. It also has maps and photos of Heimaey Island prior to the 1973 eruption. I enjoyed seeing those. Nearly complete collection of Icelandic stamps. Open June through Sept. 1pm to 4 pm weekdays only. Admission charge.
