Ripley's Moving Theatre is set up like a regular theatre at first glance, except that your ordinary theatre does not have seatbelts on the seats!!!! They show two different short movies/rides a night. You go in and get 3-D glasses. The attraction is 4-D. The seats move along with the 3-D image to create the impression that you are actually on the ride that they are showing, and it really does feel real. It is a lot of fun. The ride does jerk you around in the chairs kind of roughly at times, but then again, so would a rollercoaster.

TIP: There are five Ripley's attractions in Gatlinburg, and if you are interested in all five of them, you can buy a combo ticket, any one of them that includes all five, and it will save you money. The Ripley's attractions include:
