There are a few cigar shops in Guardalavaca that offer great prices and selections. Rule of thumb: if the cigar shop isn't cool and damp, then move along. Keep clear of the cigar salesmen at the market in Guardalavaca. Don't rush into buying cigars to bring back home as the airport cigar shop is great and offers many top brands. Ensure when you buy a box of cigars that the box has a hologram sticker on it. While on vacation, I was able to smoke nine out of the 12 cigars on my wish list (i.e. Romeo y Julieta, Montecristo, and Partagas).
