This is an excellent little attraction. Fair enough that you can see monkeys in most parts of Bali, but here they come right up to you as they are well acquainted to the activities of humans – in some respects only too well acquainted.Whatever you do, don’t leave your bags open or lying around as the monkeys will be off with them as soon as you turn your back. The staff of the park will feed the monkeys and offer you the same opportunity, but if you want a good photo then it's best to avoid being associated with food. Another word of caution is that you should never bare your teeth as this is a sign of aggression – fine if your on a one to one situation, but here you are well and truly outnumbered so again play it easy.
The forest has it's own dedicated car park on the road just a little to the west of the entrance (more or less where the main stretch of shops begin).
