Austria is one of the world's great bobsledding hotspots, and the track in Igls, which is located just five kilometres from Innsbruck, is one of the world's best. For most tourists, turning your head to keep up with the bobsleds, luges and skeleton sleds hurtling down the track might be thrill enough; but for others, nothing but the real thing will do. Expert drivers will guide you down the course at breakneck speed, every Tuesday and Thursday in January and February. Reservations (+43 664 35 78 607) are necessary. Admission: EUR30.
