Nice clean beach. We did a lot of walking. The water was fairly warm even though it was late November. It was fun to sit on the beach and watch the boats go by.

Sometime in March or early April, Del Rey Beach has their annual Arts Festival. There you will find local artisans showing their wares of local art and pottery, glass, etc. It's a fun day right on the intercoastal.

All of the beaches include a huge expanse of sand leading to the water, providing an open area for sand sports, picnics, and lounging. The water is turquoise and clear. The waves are big and beautiful. Don't be surprised if the continuous rolling mesmerizes you and sets the tempo for your vacation.
