The spring still continuously provides water and there are indications that it was used as the towns water supply before completion of the roman aqueduct traversing the Pont du Gard.
The park covers an area of 12 hectares. Climbing the hill affords a great view of Nîmes and the possibility of visiting the Magne Tower.
