Historic downtown Frankfort is a great place to take a stroll and view the many renovated buildings that now house shops, restaurants and some private homes. The architectural integrity of the beautiful old buildings is something Frankfort takes a great deal of pride in. The downtown area, which includes the riverfront, is the location of many special events such as the pumpkin festival, candlelight tour, summer concerts and a Historic Home Tour.
