Gabriel Marquez shops are the perfect place to buy lunch. We would escape with our food for the day for under 900 pesetas for a block of cheese, some pate and fresh bread. They also have a wide selection of Spanish wines, including the odd tasting local favorite Piretto.
My recomendations: the wheat bread, cheese with the green patterened rind (name escapes me), and the pate with the peppercorns. Oh, and maybe knowing a little Spanish would help too...
