Started in 1969 as an agricultural project for the physically disabled, this project has now grown out to several hundreds of employees, backed up by Kenian, European, and Indian government funds. You do not only find some of the most interesting local souvenirs (compared to the mass-industry shops donwtown Mombasa), but also contribute to this important integration project of the physically disabled who have the opportunity to learn and exercise a real craft here.
