Devoto is the Wal-Mart of South America. There is everything there, from shoes to bread to blenders. Our luggage didn't make it from Miami, so we had to buy everything for our trip. I would have been lost without my pair of little ranceritas. They are little canvas shoes. The 'real' variety has jute-rope soles and is made of denim. Everybody in Uruguay, male and female, swears by their ranceritas!
