I was afraid of the Hobie Cat at first because I thought we would get out in the ocean and not be able to make our way back. Boy, was I glad that I finally went out. The staff assisted us with getting on the Cat and gave us a brief course in the basics and off we went! My husband sailed, so I was able to lie down and soak up the sun. The water would splash up on us as we sailed across the water, which was very nice with 90 degree temperatures in September. The water was shallow in a lot of places, so we were able to look down and see all kinds of marine life. We were in our own little world. The waves were breaking out at the barrier reef, so, of course, we had to go check it out. Be careful going out there -- you can get stuck! Don't worry: the staff keeps a close eye on you and they will come out and pick you up if needed. This is something anyone can do, even if you have never sailed before in your life -- we are living proof. Go enjoy yourself!
