Across the road is the trailhead, which is steep and has switchbacks, but is easy because of its short length. 1 mile up and you hit Ranger Falls, a beautiful twin waterfall well worth the climb. Except for the black flies that followed us up to the falls (as far as we went that day because of the nuisances), this trail was perfect in its serenity and also manageable distance.
