The exhibits are interesting and informative, tracing the history of Fukuoka from pre-historic to present time. The labels are in English and in Japanese. Look out for the Gold Seal, a national treasure, given by the Chinese Emperor during the Han dynasty to the Japanese king of Na-koku.
