Noussa is a major seaside resort town on the north western side of Paros. It is a shopper's dream. And a contrast from my stay in Driow, on the other end of the island.
The town is a maze of narrow streets with little shops. Much more than junky souveneir stands. These shops offer quality merchandise with unparalleled variety for the small Greek towns. There is fashionable clothing, souvenirs, arts, and crafts galore. Beware the merchandise can be pricey. Also, bring cash. Credit cards are always accepted.
Don't miss browsing at the open air market along the water. There you can find authentic sponges, sea shells, leather goods, and more.
There are also many excellent restaurants, tavernas, and bakeries. You can't miss Naoussa if you are in Paros.
