The park is organised to be a time line from pre-historic days to Roman. My all time favourite is the house on stilts, which is a reproduction of what they think houses on the fringes of the lake would have looked like in Stone Age time. Besides it is a section of ground that they removed 1 km when they dug the local motorway. Here you will see three Stone Age hearths and other artifacts as they were found.
The museum itself takes you backwards in time to the Stone Age. You follow a route through and there are lots of things to touch, look at, and play with. You'll forget you are in a museum and think it’s a new kind of place.
Then visit the cafeteria with its view over the lake. Try the Viennese hot chocolate drink!
