There is an amusement area (video games) that you have to walk thru to get to the mini-golf area, but it is not elaborate, and therefore not too tempting. They have the standard selection of clubs (in various lengths). There are two courses, we choose the one to the right as you enter.

The holes are all par 2, which can appear to have no variety (our first impression), but that is deceiving. They have a great variety in the results from a variety of strokes. We started and, as predicted, those of us who had played well before did so for the first hole – from there on out it varied greatly! The first time that a ‘non-player’ made a hole-in-one were surprised, and all cheered! Our wonder became greater as the ‘experienced players’ took many strokes to complete the hole! Yes, the experienced players ended up with the least strokes to finish the course, no one was a loser, for all had managed to make a hole-in-one (while no hole gave it to all).

There is such a variety in the holes that everyone can do well on one hole! It is so much fun to watch the kids do well on a hole that that you are sure you could have aced, but blew! You can even watch the game proceed on one course from the car/parking area, if you rather not play.

All the holes were ‘straight out’ – no windmill to go thru, or shafts that the ball went down – but that did not lessen the entertainment value. There were also a couple of holes that the water from the displays had obviously sprayed onto – and therefore offered an extra challenge.

I have since learned that there is a bigger place in the area that has go-carts and such, but I would go back to here for a nice family outing. There was no distraction from the few video games. We went there to enjoy a family outing of miniature golf and we had an excellent time!

You can win a FREE game, or a $.50 off coupon, by playing a shockwave game at their main Putt-Putt website ! You can play as many times as you want, but the coupons are numbered and each can only be used once.
