Greenfield Park and Gardens

I needed a place to exercise after a long day of sitting around. An associate of mine recommended Greenfield Park as it has a nice lake about 4 miles around that locals walk/jog around. The only slight issue is that part of the park borders a slightly less than savory neighborhood; I wouldn't go there alone at night.

Forests of trees cover the grounds of the park, the lake is a little swampy looking in some areas, and several interesting species of birds peppered my trail. Along the way, I encountered a few leering men that said something probably nasty to me in Spanish which I ignored, of course. Other passersby were a few kids, ladies walking their dogs, joggers, and a few other miscellaneous folk.

Features of the park include paddleboats, picnic tables, herb garden, restrooms, and a children's playground. Lots of parking is available.
