Old Silver Beach

Old Silver Beach could easily be considered one of the most popular beaches in Falmouth. It is a little bit out of the way of the main tourist area, and therefore brings in more residents than visitors, but tourists are always welcome.

The sand could easily be considered the softest in the area. When the tide changes, there is a huge sand bar that is wonderful for children to play on, build drip sand castles, and jump the small ankle-deep waves. The sunsets are incredible because the sun sets directly on the horizon. The sky can easily turn five to seven different colors in a matter of 10 minutes. It's beautiful. During July is can get crowded, but the people are always nice. There is not a lot of pushing or loud music.
