Chapada dos Veadeiros-National Park

Chapada dos Veadeiros is a National Park located about 150 miles adjacent to the vila of Sao Jorge, in the State of Goias. It is abundant of fauna and flora and has a peaceful surroundings. There are several waterfalls, canyons and beauty everywhere. Well worth the sidetrip while in Brasilia.

It is near another falls called Cachoeira da Rodovaria,(Bus Station Falls). It has this name due to its location situated where buses arrive and depart with miners of quartz crystals which are predominant in this area. The entrance fee is 3 Real ($1.50 US), and has a guided tour for groups of ten individuals for 30 Real ($15.00US).

While there, you should also view Raizama Falls.
