Description: Created by an Italian architect in the 1990s, Median D’Agadir is an attempt to recreate an idealized Berber village, utilizing the traditional techniques, materials and designs of the area. The medina is spread over 4 acres, features lanes with stalls selling handmade crafts, an ampitheater, a Moorish cafe and a restaurant, in addition to workshops for 30 independent artisans. Stroll the green slate walkways and peruse souks piled with potential souvenirs, or just sit back and enjoy the odd but unique space that is the Medina D’Agadir.
