Poodle Beach

The town's beach stretches much further than this two block area, but if you are looking for the gay section you'll need to walk all the way to the southern tip of the boeardwalk. Poodle Beach attracts mostly men, and it can get quite crowded midday. This can be good or bad, depending on whether you were looking to relax by the water and tan or if you were hoping to meet someone to frolic in the water with. Some serious beachcombers may prefer to visit the nearby Cape Henlopen State Park, just north of town.
