You won't forget it. Mummies are in excellent condition. A short film is shown to give a perspective on what you will be seeing. This museum helps put Peru and it's history into perspective. A guide will be assigned. What you pay is voluntary. I didn't really feel that the guide did much more than read the cards next to the displays, but you can't get in without one. I wanted more time and eventually had to slow the guide down.
