The U.S Naval Academy

  • May 10, 2002

You can't miss the Academy it's in the center of the town and visible from almost everywhere. There is the visitor's center which has some interesting displays but the best part is that they allow you to walk around the academy. This enables you to view Bancroft Hall and the Chapel which is a resting place for the Naval hero John Paul Jones and it still used for services. You can see the officer houses and 'run in to' cadets out training. The visitors center also offers a large store where you can buy Navy based merchandise, including Navy sports wear.

Take the tour learn about the history of the academy. You will get to see the crypt of John Paul Jones, the Severn seawall and an early submarine. Go Navy!
