Imagine! A year-round Halloween store! That's exactly what the Bootique in Cape May offers. Located in the ground level of the Hotel Macomber, the Bootique has been providing Halloween fans a place to shop all year long. A refreshing change from the endless tourist shops and antique stores, the Bootique is worth a look for anyone into the witching season. A tiny little store, the Bootique is crammed full of Halloween decorations, t-shirts, stuffed animals, jewelry and knickknacks. Some of my favorite items are Halloween ornaments. I picked up a cute bat and a spider. There are also lovely pieces of handcrafted jewelry featuring ghosts, goblins and witches.
The Bootique is also your place to pick up tickets for the Haunted Cape May Tour, which I review separately. These run from June through Halloween and are the only authentic haunted tours in Cape May. Each stop is investigated by paranormal experts and verified to be an authentic haunting.
