Mount Warning National Park

This is a World Heritage-listed park, so it really shouldn't be missed. The mountain itself is the remnant central plug of an ancient volcano that has eroded down to half its original height. It's still 1,100 meters high, and can be seen for many kilometers when driving south from Queensland.

Mount Warning offers a fantastic walk to the summit through rainforest communities and has a challenging final rock scramble at the end. Those who are up to the test are rewarded with panoramic views of the Tweed Valley.
