We have found in our southern travels that antique shops often speak an areas history more accurately than a curetted museum.
We bought an oak child craft table for $30 and a nursing rocker with caned seat for $34. My husband threatened that anything I bought had to fit into the van. We looked like the Beverly Hillbillies heading south but I filled that van with mountain treasures and edibles to last until our next visit.
