The trip terminates 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, in Agawa Canyon, the very heart of Algoma country, where a two hour stop-over provides you with the opportunity to photograph the many waterfalls and rocky cliffs. Here you may climb to the lookout, explore the nature trails, picnic or just relax in the fine natural park beside the Agawa River.
The scenery from the relaxing train ride is fabulous. Kids especially will enjoy the tour as train journeys are something that may be exciting to them. Beautiful in Spring, Summer, and Fall, this last season provides the best breathtaking views of colours of the surrounding valley. The waterfall is climbable, and the day of the tour is at once exciting and relaxing.
