Mount Robson

Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, towers 3954 metres over the western entrance to the Park. Mount Robson is one of the most impressive and beautiful sights in Rockies. Its characteristic shape looms over the deep blue Berg Lake which stands at the feet of the giant. The summit is weather's clear only 12 days a year, so if you have the opportunity to take a snapshot, do not hesitate! The source of Mount Robson's name is mysterious. The Indian name is 'Yuh hai has hun', since 1863 it is Robson but nobody remembered why? Anyway the monarch of Canadian Rockies waits for you.
