The slot floor is also huge, and payouts appear frequent. But expect to wait a half hour or more if you hit a jackpot and need to be paid. The outdoor parking lot is often almost completely full, so drive back to the attached free parking garage, where there are always spaces.
Gold Strike has my favorite buffet. On weekends there's a wide array of fresh fish and shellfish, as well as huge rounds of roast beef and freshly cooked NY strip steaks (all days). It's great anytime, but on Fridays it's incredible. Comps are generous, so table game players will almost always be able to eat for free.

Having one of the best buffets in town, especially on the weekends when they have their seafood bar, many people visit Gold Strike just to eat dinner. It's a bit pricey if you're forced to pay for it (roughly $20) but if you're a savvy gambler, you'll get your meal for free. Keep an eye out for their dessert bar as it always has a wide selection of cheesecakes, pies, and other sinful foods. Remember to pick up a players club card and earn points and comps. Good luck and Enjoy!
