The childrens science center is fun and educational. It has a wide variety of themes, such as space, weather, Florida, earth, physics, etc. My husband and I traveled with our four year old son and fourteen year old niece. we all enjoyed the exhibits and hands on activities. A big hit was creating an earthquake, sending probes to planets and getting weather images from space. Children also are able to learn hands-on how to create energy by pedeling and creating arcs of electricity.
There was a lot of fun and educational information on Florida's animals, including the interesting manatees. This was one of the more interesting science/art museums we have visited in some time.
We have an annual pass to the Dallas Science Museum so we were able to enter Brevard Museum of Art and Science for free under their passport program. A membership to one of the museums that offers the passport program is great for anyone who enjoys including educational activities in their vacations. It's also a great deal cheaper than having to pay admission to each museum you visit.
We went on a rainy afternoon and it was a perfect activity for the interest of a wide age range. Highly recommended stop.
