Hunter Charters offers great snorkeling adventures. They also offer deep-sea fishing at its finest, beach-picnics, sight-seeing and offshore cruises in the Paradise Island area of The Bahamas. They are located on Paradise Island just 5 minutes from Atlantis.
Their skippers, Captain Paul (25 years experience) and Captain Dwayne, offer half-day, full-day or offshore trips. Each boat is air-conditioned, fully loaded with top notch equipment and can comfortably accommodate ten persons.

Deadman's Reef is the home of Paradise Cove, where one can swim out to some of the best snorkeling reefs.

The snorkeling was very good once we got past the sea grass. The reef is about 100 ft. off shore and home to many species of colorful fish and coral. Yet, it was still shallow enough on the beach side of the reef that we felt very safe.

Included in the snorkel excursion price is the shuttle ride to and from Freeport, or the cruise ship. A barbeque lunch at the Red Bar is also included.

I really like the idea that you can stay there and enjoy the beach, snorkeling, volleyball courts, water sport rentals, and not have to leave after a set time.

Another nice feature is that they don't allow venders on the beach. It is a beautiful place to kick back and relax!

Snorkeling is a great experience. You get to see a lot of different fishes and corals. It's something you don't want to miss. After that the only thing that's better is swimming with dolphins.
