We were mostly impressed by the statues from the ancient city of Perge in the The Hall of Gods and The Hall of Emperors. I was especially impressed by the dancing woman sculpture with her skirt moving with her dance. In the Natural History and Prehistory Hall bronze age jewellery from Elmali and stone tools and such from Karain Caves were exhibited. The In the Hall of Grave Cultures there was a collection of sarcholopoly with beautiful decorations. There was a special section on Turkish culture and Islam at the Etnography Halls. I guess if you are not familiar with the Turkish culture you may find it interesting.
I believe it would be much better if we visited the museum after sightseeing as we would relate to them much better. So my suggestion is to visit the museum on your last days.
