We camp here pretty often. The campground is clean and easily accessible to trails nearby. Only complaint is road noise. Arrive early to reserve sites away from busy roads. Best campground within a short distance from Lexington.

Koomer Ridge Campground

Choose Koomer Ridge Campground in the Daniel Boone National Forest. You'll find unique sites in this campground. They are tri-level and becasue of that they give it a different feel and secluded experience. It's equipped with running water, flush toilets, and showers. Reservations are not accepted so arrive early. This is also recommended to avoid pitching your tent too close to one of the cliffs surrounding the grounds.
