The parasailing was very easy to book, and it was the first time for my husband and daughter, and they loved it. The ride was sort of short, but the view was AWESOME. Very safe. I would highly recommend it. If you do it spur of the moment, just book it anywhere along Medano Beach.

Parasailing was the best thing I could have decided to do. It takes you about 600 feet above the water. You are so high that you can see the bottom of the bay. One of the fun things about it is that you have to take a water taxi out to the boat. You then have to exchange boats at a speed of 30mph. If I could do it again, I would not hesitate.

If you've never done it, which I hadn't, you must. It's a lot safer now than it used to be...you're no longer dragged off a beach, but rather let off like a kite from the back of a boat. Once you're up there it's a serene, quiet experience like none other.

Allow yourself a couple of hours for the whole thing...for two of us we were out on the boat for nearly an hour, and you need to consider time to get down to the beach and any delays that may occur. I think the regular price was about $50/person, but we got discounted tickets for listening to a sales presentation.
