ATV Rider Adventure

This was a BLAST! Even my mother and father-in-law kept up! The 3-hour tour on the beach and through the sand dunes was so much fun, we went twice and bought the shirt! WARNING: Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, 'cause you even find sand in your underwear. Also, cover your camera with a towel, even in a backpack; it got dirty. We framed our group pictures that we took at some of the scenic spots--make sure you take one. This was everyone's favorite part of the vacation!

We went through Baja's to arrange our ATVing. Got the tour for both of us as a gift for attending timeshare presentation. The location is north of Cabo. Baja's picks you up and returns you to your resort. The area for ATVs is north of town in a state park. Beautiful desert right next to fabulous private beach. Both group ATVing and time to go off on your own to explore. They provide cold water and guide. Very fun, and they also have a paramedic accompany the group for safety. Highly recommend them.

ATV Tour

This was so much fun! The van ride to the ATV site was about 35 minutes, but well worth it! We went with the Baja MotoSports group. There is a 1/2 hour guided tour through the trails, then you have an hour to explore trails, drive along the beach, practice your jumps (woo hoo!), and interact with other riders. Bottles of water are included, as well as helmets, goggles, and handkerchiefs to keep the dust out of your mouth!

It was amazingly fun! Be sure to bring jeans, tennies, and a shirt you don't mind getting embedded with dirt. The engines get pretty hot, and one girl on our tour wore a bikini top, short-shorts, and flip-flops and got burned on her legs from the engine, scratched on her shoulders from the brush, and scraped on her feet from shifting the ATV. But we dressed appropriately and had a great time!

ATV Tour

My nine-year-old son and I booked an ATV tour with a company called Amigos and it was fabulous. We commuted about 20 minutes outside of Cabo by van and then drove the ATV through the desert and eventually to the beach along the Pacific Ocean. It was fun, exciting, and definitely worth the price. The entire outing lasted about three hours and I would recommend it to ANYONE without hesitation. Some of the terrain was a real challenge and racing along the miles of sandy beach enjoying the breeze from the ocean was unforgettable!

We decided to take a trip to the ATV tour to the old lighthouse (which by the way is not that old!!); this tour departures from just in front of Plaza Las Glorias Hotel. Well, the best tour for you must be the sunset trip, which leaves at 4pm. Why this is the best? Because you will be able spend all by the pool or the beach and by 4pm, the sun is not that strong. You will be riding your own ATV through this sand desert road ‘til you get to this lonely beach, which is protected by the Mexican government. This place has two racing tracks if you are traveling with a group, but the highlight of the tour must be the AWESOME sunset view from this beach! Your can bring an ice box and some beers!
