AMAZING!!! What a tribute to the 168 people who lost their lives in 1995 when a "terrorist" named Timothy McVeigh blew up the Murrah Federal Building! Every part of the museum, from beginning to end, is so well done. The first part gives you details about the routine day and the chaos that ensued at 9:02. The displays are tasteful and meaningful. You feel like you're right there. The second floor deals with the aftermath and the healing process for those involved. The museum is self-guided, it's immaculate, comfortable, well designed and accessible for all. There are several chances to leave messages for others too. And the outside memorial is so peaceful and serene. Just can't say enough about the fantastic job done here- it's a MUST SEE! There's also a gift shop that's full of wonderful books, gifts, art. An amazing job has been done to help us remember that through pain and suffering we can learn to cherish each day! And each other!
