Dunn's River Falls

I found this particular experience a bit dry and boring. However, I was on a guided tour. You walked/climbed on rocks that were shallow in water. The most exciting part was the bus ride there from Montego Bay because the driving was terrifyingly fast. However, it was a nice scenic view for the most part, and there were many markets with the same items for sale.

I would recommend this for families with children because it's active and maybe challenging enough for the younger. I would probably not do this again however, unless I was not on a guided tour but there on my own time, relaxing on the beach.

We met a local person (we know the warnings) who we hired as a driver -- trust me, you do not want to drive here!

Dunn's River Falls in Ochos Rios should not be missed! You are able to actually climb the face of the falls -- with a guide, of course! The falls were several stories high with intermittent pools of water several feet deep. The falls are situated in a nature park and spill into a semi-protected bay where swimming and jet skiing are available.

The local fruit was also amazingly good – we bought it on the side of the road. We certainly were asked to buy our share of trinkets and other things, as you may guess, but all in all, we had many positive experiences with the people of Jamaica and were quite sad to leave this amazing paradise!
