South Shore Adventure Day Tour

This tour starts out at your hotel, ours being the Esja. Make sure you hit the restrooms before going because there isn't one on the motorcoach, and it tends to get crowded! The tour covers a coastal fishing village, black sand beaches, a couple incredible waterfalls that gush heavily after rain and snowmelt, steam vents, lava fields, an Icelandic folk museum, passes by the only prison in Iceland, and more! I would recommend a different tour that explored the highlands and fjords if time and weather permit (we went during March when it was still cold and the highlands are impassable). Otherwise, this was a great way to see a lot of Iceland in one day!
